I sort of forgot as well.

What do these three have in common?

Elton John

Alice Cooper

Johnny Cash

It has nothing to do with actual music, and Marty Feldman has the same thing in common. They're not songs from "Yellowbeard".

Someday you'll find it. The connection. Let's try not to get too grouchy; I don't want to get chopped in the face or anything.

Sometimes I really wish I had a wok. Ah.

Lennon-McCartney

The singles in Europe had a big hole instead of the small one that had Lps or cds. You had to put a little plastic piece into the big hole and insert it in the stick in the middle of the turntable.

Wow, am I that old? :stars:  45rpmri30ye1ac.jpg

It´s these yellow things, seems they call it 45RPM inserts or spindle adaptators. You had all kind of models and it was the most common thing in every house in the sixties.

How would you play the second one ?

Here's how

A supply of these (or a special spindle convertor) was essential to play your 'singles' on a standard old-school record player.

But 45 RPM is not the link I'm after.

Lennon-McCartney

I almost missed that, edna!

Yes, the link is that songs on these 45s are all Lennon-McCartney compositions (not used by The Beatles). I painted over that credit on the label images.

You can see that a couple of them were produced by George Martin, as well.

Your turn!
