_Jayson_
pearl jams-jermany very sad its about kid who killed himself Stick to Linkin Park. I keed I keed. But one song that stands out to me is "Pocket of Tears" - Living Colour. Stars shine when no one is watching I scream and nobody hears I've hurt and cried and made my way and no one has to see my tears and the world spins round and round they put you in the cold cold ground x2 I've lived and died and nobody noticed My suffering is nobody's blame love and hate forever existing everyday it's all just the same Chorus Throwing stones in a pocket of tears x3 i carved myself out of nothing x4 flowers will still bloom without us the sun will shine when you're gone the wind will blow on without us and we will still all move on and on... trickster
Page & Plant - Big Log My love is in league with the freeway Its passion will ride, as the cities fly by And the tail-lights dissolve, in the coming of night And the questions in thousands take flight My love is a-miles in the waiting The eyes that just stare, and the glance at the clock And the secret that burns, and the pain that grows dark And it's you once again Leading me on - leading me down the road Driving beyond - driving me down the road My love is exceedingly vivid Red-eyed and fevered with the hum of the miles Distance and longing, my thoughts do provide Should I rest for a while at the side Your love is cradled in knowing Eyes in the mirror, still expecting they'll come Sensing too well when the journey is done There is no turning back - no There is no turning back - on the run My love is in league with the freeway Oh the freeway, and the coming of night-time My love is in league with the freeway

blue11_96
When you were here before Couldn't look you in the eye You're just like an angel Your skin makes me cry You float like a feather In a beautiful world And I wish I was special You're so fuckin' special But I'm a creep, I'm a weirdo. What the hell am I doing here? I don't belong here. I don't care if it hurts I want to have control I want a perfect body I want a perfect soul I want you to notice When I'm not around You're so fuckin' special I wish I was special But I'm a creep, I'm a weirdo. What the hell am I doing here? I don't belong here. She's running out again, She's running out She's run run run running out... Whatever makes you happy Whatever you want You're so fuckin' special I wish I was special... But I'm a creep, I'm a weirdo, What the hell am I doing here? I don't belong here. I don't belong here. - Creep, Radiohead (1993)

masoleumrent
no, no, no, people who think the smiths are depressing are missing the point entirely, the smiths are hilarious! look at the song titles, and listen hard to the lyrics, there's a lot of humour there, some songs do come across as depressing - usually because they are driving home a strong point....- i think 'never had no one ever' and ' i know its over' from 'the queen is dead' LP can be deemed as fairly depressing....'half a person' the list could go on, of course, it depends what type of person you are and what your looking for from the song.....after listening to a smiths album i always feel first of all happier and secondly, extremely thoughtful for the next hour at least..... most depressed song? 'goodbye cruel world im leaving you today goodby, goodbye, goodbye goodbye all you people there's nothing you can say to make me change my mind goodbye' 36 seconds or aso - roger waters and his acoustic, it all seems so final.....pretty depressing.... nathan36149
you guys forgot nine inch nails! my all time favorit sad songs would be "hurt" (johnny cash did a nice cover version of that song)and "something i can never have". but if you think of it, every nin song is pretty depressing to the live album "and all that could have been" exists a bonus disc entitled "still". if you like the two songs above you'll love this cd. I hurt myself today to see if I still feel I focus on the pain the only thing that's real the needle tears a hole the old familiar sting try to kill it all away but I remember everything what have I become? my sweetest friend everyone I know goes away in the end you could have it all my empire of dirt I will let you down I will make you hurt I wear this crown of [bleep] upon my liar's chair full of broken thoughts I cannot repair beneath the stains of time the feeling disappear you are someone else I am still right here what have I become? my sweetest friend everyone I know goes away in the end you could have it all my empire of dirt I will let you down I will make you hurt if I could start again a million miles away I would keep myself I would find a way
