OLD 55
Three Oldies which I heard/ saw a contestant in the final of a TV Talent Quest do VERY effectively as a medley. He was runner up to a flautist! "I'll Never Fall In Love Again" (Johnny Ray 1959, Tom Jones 1967, Bobbie Gentry 1969). Tom Jones' song was titled "(It Looks Like) I'll Never Fall In Love Again". That same Talent Show started an Australian trio, New World, on the road to fame in the U.K. and Australia. Their prize was a trip to the U.K. Any English people who were around in the early 70s remember them? John Lee (the fuzzy haired one) was a mate of mine.
