Wyld Card 5
At least Metallica made it, though it should have been higher, but I really don't agree with this order and I have a feeling several commentators will agree when the list is published.
pinkstones 0
I own exactly one of those albums, but they're all good in their own way.
edna 6
No doubt R.E.M. are popular...
RockyRaccoon 0
I love every single one of those albums. Except Alanis Morissette. I hate Alanis Morissette.

TheLizard 1
Chili Peppers Actually, this whole list is pretty spot on. Not sure about Alanis, but I do enjoy some of that album.
Farin 2
Actually, this whole list is pretty spot on. pretty much my first though too
Shawna 1
I love every single one of those albums. Except Alanis Morissette. I hate Alanis Morissette. Alanis is the only album I own off this entire list.
edna 6
I have four of them: the two R.E.M. (both LPs), Oasis and Weezer (CD)
Tenacious_Peaches 0
Fine, expected list. Hey, look at all the white dudes (and requisite "90s angry white girl".)
TheLizard 1
Yeah, not much credit to the important rappers of the decade. Oh well.
Lucky 5
I was actually still paying attention to new music back then, and I think this list turned out pretty darned good, if not surprising. The lack of any rap artists isn't right for it to be a good slice of the 90's, but I can't argue with any of the albums here at all.
Viaene 0
I love every single one of those albums. Except Alanis Morissette. I hate Alanis Morissette. this. And a special for RHCP!!

edna 6
RollingStonesRollingStonesRollingStones!!! "Sticky Fingers" will win... ...as usual [biggest]BEST ALBUM IN ROCK HISTORY!!![/biggest]
pinkstones 0
Sticky Fingers wasn't even their best album, IMO.
edna 6
Sticky Fingers is a masterpiece...
pinkstones 0
I'm not saying it's a bad album, I'm saying I don't think it's their best. Just like I don't think Zep IV is Led Zeppelin's best album. I don't think The Dark Side of the Moon is Pink Floyd's best album, either. Wish You Were Here is ever so slightly better. But just ever so slightly.
Wyld Card 5
I don't think I would rank Sticky Fingers in my top 3 favorite Stones albums. Top 5 maybe.
RockyRaccoon 0
I think Sticky Fingers would be my number four. Behind Let It Bleed, Beggars Banquet and Exile On Main Street
edna 6
It would be extremelly hard to chose for me too... Let It Bleed, Beggars' Banquet, Exile, Goat's Head Soup... yet Sticky Fingers is a complete-perfect album. My fave Led Zepp Lp would be the first one. They never rocked that way... wow... .cool: The Floyds have such gems... I might choose "Atom Heart Mother" if I had to... Farin 2
why are we talking about The Rolling Stones here?
Wyld Card 5
It started out when somebody asked what should be the next topic and I suggested Rolling Stones songs. It quickly evolved into a thread hi-jack. (I still say it would be a good conversational topic that would gain some attention on the front page)
RonJonSurfer 15
Sticky Fingers is a masterpiece... The best!
