It may look a little complicated, but it's not really. You don't have to be an 'oldie' - just someone who appreciates this kind of music. ................................................. If your songs aren't there, you could use Google/Wikipedia - or PT Cyberjudge if in doubt. .................................................. IT'S EASY Allot your points in 3 sections: PART A: 5 Existing songs in Top 40 #40 (below) you'd like to advance: (Plus) +5, +4, +3, +2, +1. PART B: 5 Existing songs in Top 40 #40 (below) you don't really care for, or you think could make way for other New songs.: (Minus) -5, -4, -3, -2, -1. PART C: 5 New Songs you'd like to see in the next Top 40: (Plus) *5, +4, +3, +2, +1. OLD 55
Thanks for your support Elena and Ron. And a very good year was 1960. Although there were people choosing it as the year the world would end (like 1980, 2000 and now 2012) for some reason I don't recall now. What else ? * Trampolines were the big leisure craze in the U.S. * Culottes were 'in' for women (something we men never understood) * Psycho was the Hit Movie of the year, although ignored at the Oscars * Westerns ruled TV - Gunsmoke, Wagon Train, Have Gun Will Travel * Bye Bye Birdie was the big new Broadway Musical

But you're going to need a Moderator to open the new and close the old each week. See if you guys can recruit one to do that. I've enjoyed my stay here but I'm going to stick with my decision and leave now. I thank God for all the wonderful friends I've made and wish you all every happiness. I do correspond by Email with a few friends here, and invite anyone else to drop me the occasional Email at dazstamps@netspace.net.au Bye All.
