c_s_1987
The Tull and Zep songs I was going to nominate have already been nominated. I'm not going to votesplit either of those bands. I'll have to think harder about my nominations now.

phil
Because of a minor technicality. Spirit In The Sky charted in 1970, I will nominate this song instead. It was released in May, 1970. All Right Now - Free

katie_sane
How does this Top Ten work? Just nominate any two songs from 1970 - 1979? Then voting as usual?

Lucky
This will be harder than the '60's was, and I don't think I want to play anymore. Well, I'll play, but I won't be happy about it.
Lea
I feel exactly the same way Lucky. If some of you would have just nominated a few I didn't like. But nooooooo ya all just had to nominate all my favorite 70 songs. Now what am I gonna do

c_s_1987
I've Seen All Good People - Yes (1971) The Low Spark Of High Heeled Boys - Traffic (1971) I tried to nominate a song that wasn't from 1971, but I failed. That year was so ridiculously good.
c_s_1987
Aqualung (6:31) Highway Star (6:32) Radar Love (6:25) Comfortably Numb (6:24) Kashmir (8:32) Won't Get Fooled Again (8:32) Bohemian Rhapsody (5:56) Hotel California (6:24) Layla (7:08) American Pie (8:32) Hurricane (8:33) Paradise By The Dashboard Light (8:28) Rapper's Delight (14:37) I've Seen All Good People (6:54) The Low Spark Of High Heeled Boys (11:44) [smaller]I might have missed some songs that belong in the above list. Also, I cannot guarantee that all the above track lengths are correct.[/smaller] It looks like my top ten is going to consist mostly of songs that are six minutes long or more. Also, I've always found it interesting that a lot of the above songs are either exactly or almost exactly the same length (and there are quite a few other popular songs that are approximately six and a half or eight and a half minutes long). edna
oh boy.. I was planning to nominate Echoes but I see there's already 2 Pink Floyd songs nominated. oh the horror of making choices! Echoes would be high in my list... even though we have a very hard Top...
Lea
It would also be high on my list Viaene. I thought you might nominate it. All three of the PF songs would most likely make my list it would just be a matter of putting one song over the other. Now that would be the hard part. I love Pink Floyd
TheLizard
I just realized I've made a terrible omission. I would like to replace "Let There Be Rock" with "Thunder Road" by the amazing Mr. Bruce Springsteen.
edna
OK, make it easier, Tim, go ahead... I love "Thunder Road" and I'll vote for it...
