Wyld Card 5
Which line from a song do you think is the most well-known? I'm thinking "You can check out any time you like, but you can't ever leave" from Hotel California is one of them.

LeeBB 0
Which line from a song do you think is the most well-known? I'm thinking "You can check out any time you like, but you can't ever leave" from Hotel California is one of them. I'm thinking that the best known lines will also be titles of songs, eg "I Wanna Hold Your Hand" or "You've lost That Loving Feeling". When it comes to lyrics that are not titles, that's a different kettle of fish... LBB

LeeBB 0
"We don't need no education." But to be the most recognised line ever, my mum and my wife would both have to know it, and that disqualifies 99% of the suggestions so far (including this one). btw, I know I'm an ingenue, but what is this one from: "On a cold and grey Chicago morning" ??
