Farin
[big]THE SIXTH SONGFACTORS' CHOICE ULTIMATE TOP TEN - ROUND 1[/big] - No nominations are required, as the songs have been selected from our 25 top tens. - Voting rules will be exactly the same as the normal top tens - rank your favourite songs in the list from 1-10, and 10 points will be given to your number 1 song, 9 for number 2 etc. - We have decided to restrict eligibility to vote to only those people who have nominated or voted in at least one of Top Tens 126-150. - We realised it would be ridiculous to expect people to come up with a top ten from all 250 songs, so I have seeded the songs and split them into fair groups. - The results will be announced in about five days from the start date of this thread. - This is Group 1 of 5, and this group contains 50 songs. I will then combine the five top tens together to form a group, and then we will vote on these songs to form the Ultimate Top Ten. Group 1 About A Girl - Nirvana (1989) Always On The Run - Lenny Kravitz (1991) And Your Bird Can Sing - The Beatles (1966) Apeman - The Kinks (1970) Because - Dave Clark Five (1964) Best Of My Love - Eagles (1974) Bitch Is Back, The - Elton John (1974) Cumbersome - Seven Mary Three (1996) Daisy Jane - America (1975) Dirty Work - Steely Dan (1972) Enter Sandman - Metallica (1991) Free Ride - Edgar Winter Group (1973) Games People Play - Alan Parsons Project (1980) Gimme Back My Bullets - Lynyrd Skynyrd (1976) Give Me Love (Give Me Peace On Earth) - George Harrison (1973) Goodnight Saigon - Billy Joel (1982) Heard It On The X - ZZ Top (1975) Hooked On A Feeling - BJ Thomas (1969) I Put A Spell On You - Creedence Clearwater Revival (1968) I Want To Hold Your Hand - The Beatles (1964) I Will Remember You - Sarah McLachlan (1995) I'm So Afraid - Fleetwood Mac (1975) Jungleland - Bruce Springsteen (1975) Kiss From A Rose - Seal (1994) Knock Me Down - Red Hot Chili Peppers (1989) Let's Dance - David Bowie (1983) Life On Mars? - David Bowie (1971) Life's Been Good - Joe Walsh (1978) Little Bit O' Soul - The Music Explosion (1967) Mr Blue Sky - Electric Light Orchestra (1977) One Headlight - Wallflowers (1996) People Got To Be Free - The Rascals (1968) Polk Salad Annie - Tony Joe White (1969) Rave On - Buddy Holly (1958) Ride - The Vines (2004) Rock'n Me - Steve Miller Band (1976) Roses - OutKast (2003) Rush - Big Audio Dynamite (1991) She's A Lady - Tom Jones (1971) Sign Of The Gypsy Queen - April Wine (1981) Smokin' - Boston (1976) Smooth Operator - Sade (1984) Stayin' Alive - Bee Gees (1977) Sweet Talkin' Woman - Electric Light Orchestra (1978) Venus - Shocking Blue (1969) Waiting for the Sun - The Doors (1968) Welcome To The Jungle - Guns 'N Roses (1987) When Doves Cry - Prince (1984) You Ain't Goin' Nowhere - Bob Dylan (1971) You've Made Me So Very Happy - Blood, Sweat & Tears (1969) VOTE AWAY NOW!!
