Pryme Posted July 7, 2008 Report Posted July 7, 2008 Hey guys, I've always enjoyed browsing through songfacts and learning more about my favorite songs. Anyways I never really saw the forums till today and it really seems like a great community so I decided to join. Ok so now to my topic. I'm going through a tough time and I need some great songs of hope. Songs about things not being right but going on with life with hope in your heart. Two that I've come up with so far are: 1. One Headlight- Wallflowers 2. A Long December- Counting Crows I want to know what you listen when you need some hope.

_Laurie_ Posted July 8, 2008 Report Posted July 8, 2008 Happy Belated Birthday Pryme...I've always loved this song, performed by many artists... You'll Never Walk Alone When you walk through a storm hold your head up high And don't be afraid of the dark. At the end of a storm is a golden sky And the sweet silver song of a lark. Walk on through the wind, Walk on through the rain, Tho' your dreams be tossed and blown. Walk on, walk on with hope in your heart And you'll Never Walk Alone, You'll Never Walk Alone. You'll Never Walk Alone
_Laurie_ Posted July 9, 2008 Report Posted July 9, 2008 Let It Be ~ Beatles Hero ~ Mariah Carey And this song always makes me feel better... No Matter What ~ Badfinger
Heard It On The XM Posted July 11, 2008 Report Posted July 11, 2008 "Stairway To Heaven". Robert Plant himself introduced it as "a song of hope" in The Song Remains The Same, so who am I to argue?
