So this would include tapes, in addition to DVDs? Or would it mean that instead of detailing the last three DVDs you only give the last one

I ask because of the existence of a similar thread... don't ban me or delete my post, okay? :P

edit: oh lookit... it's gone! 'twas very big?

That's it, I'm banning your ass!

No, the other thread was really big, I didn't see the need for historical preservation, so I killed it and started a new one. Video is video, maybe an iPod download? Why restrict it to DVD's

Oh, I just looked that up online, we're thinking of two different books. The one I'm thinking of is this book I read in highschool about a few different peoples accounts of what happened to them when the bomb dropped.

Damn it! The version of Lost In Translation I got is f*****g PAN AND SCAN! URRRRGH! Wow. I'm usually pretty mellow, easy going, and put little resistance, but I absolutely HATE pan and scan... and I got nobody else to blame for this buy but myself.

Hey, anyone wanna Lost In Translation pan and scan dvd?

Godard: "Breathless," "Band Of Outsiders," and Masculin Feminin. They didn't have Contempt, which is what I was really rarin' to get. All 3 movies were only 55USD (usually retails for 100) :beatnik: I bought Antonioni's Le Notte for 15 for a friend of mine.

Score

I gotta Miyazaki Hayao box set, a Dario Argento box set, and a Mario Bava box set (second volume with the 60s and early 70s stuff). These 15 or so movies should tide me over for almost 2 weeks before I decide to shell out either on a Fritz Lang box set or a hard copy clean bootleg of all 115 episodes of Candy Candy subtitled in English (and possibly dubbed in Spanish - don't know which "Spanish" though) :beatnik:

Oh, shoot. I forgot I bought Kakushi-Toride No San-Akunin (a.k.a., "The Hidden Fortress"). I just noticed it on my desk, still wrapped. I got jipped on that sale by about 5 bucks. Sales at Borders are only good for box sets, not single movies.
