Tenacious_Peaches
I voted for White Riot and TMBG barely missed my list. I also dig the Tito Jackson and Creepy Spider song, Farin. I just want to know what kind of a world we live in that James Brown didn't make the top ten. Criminy. Oh, and woo for the Black Crowes.

My wife can't understand my smug grin today... but I know you people do. :guitar: Congratulations!!! Not only on your first #1, but on the nomination! That song should've been there a long time ago... I'm excited about Room to Move, From the Beginning, Cry Baby, Every Little Thing.... and I'm so glad Vincent made it, 'cause I totally forgot to vote for it! and say a big woohoo for this overworked and underpaid woman.... CanAm
I agree with Edna. IMO, this is the worst Top Ten ever. What's the world coming to if a song by The Police makes a Top Ten? Sigh. Perhaps Darryl was right. We're getting to the point where many of these songs wouldn't make a Top 500 let alone a Top Ten. Oh well. That's my rant for today. The Seeker
This song by the Police is one of my very favourite songs. Yes, everyone's entitled to their own opinions.

I tend to disagree, we actually had much worse Tens - only that at that time I was pretty much alone with my opinion (that's okay), and with time the niveau was rising again... now we're just in a phase that you don't like too much... when I can get through that then everybody can After the rain comes sun After the sun comes rain again
_Laurie_
I must admit, I don't care for The Police...but that's just one song out of ten...other than that...I think it's a pretty good selection of tunes....
