TheLizard
I'm more shocked by a certain lizard's omission. No love for Meg? Yikes, that was just blind stupidity on my part. Can I change 4 to Icky Thump, move the Foo Fighters down, and take out Arctic Monkeys?

Batman
So am I the only one who was a little dissapointed by the new Arctic Monkeys?
Farin
it's hard to live up to such a great debut album like "Whatever people say..." but "favourite worst nightmare" certainly is a very good album on its own (Brianstorm, Teddy Picker, Do me a favour, etc)
bluesboy
1. Live at Massey Hall - Neil Young 2. Long Road Out of Eden - Eagles 3. Raising Sand - Robert Plant & Alison Krauss 4. Magic - Bruce Springsteen 5. Era Vulgaris - Queens of the Stone Age
Batman
it's hard to live up to such a great debut album like "Whatever people say..." but "favourite worst nightmare" certainly is a very good album on its own (Brianstorm, Teddy Picker, Do me a favour, etc) I guess my expectations were too high. WPSIATWIN was one of my favorites of 2006 and I though Favourite Worst Nightmare was just average.

TheLizard
I must admit, although I initially included it on my list for best albums of the year in another thread, I now have issues with Live At Massey Hall being included, seeing as it's a show from 1971 (with all due respect to his awesomeness, Mr. Neil Young). Still, an excellent, if predictable, list of albums.
bluesboy
You probably could have had different categories for 2007 - like the grammys... but not many people nominated. Maybe more participation by the songfacts community will spawn a bigger list of nominations next year.

Lucky
A very classic list. I personally like it! It's true, it is very classic list, due of course to the people that nominated and voted. Different participation would change the results. But for me, it works just fine. I'm actually planning to spend cash for entire albums, which is pretty amazing...
