i personally find christian music about as spiritually worthless as other kinds of music. theres hardly anybody out there who writes lyrics and knows how to do anything other than quote bible stories and say well my job is done. its quite tiresome and its not uplifting at all

the same thing happens with a lot of hymns too where its just a mindless drone of things like praise him praise him as if thats supposed to be worth anything to someone who just lost their family ro whatever

also i dont think you should let the artists backstories judge what music you listen to. its fairly unchristianlike to avoid associating with "nonbelievers" and if you keep an eye out it wont matter
