katie_sane
But I am already! Got the ultimate music geek present for my birthday: an external hard drive, already filled to capacity with music. So I'm weaving my way through it now. I'm still bored though. miamisammy29
We don't have guns here, besides I think you'll need a lot of gun skills to shoot something that quick. I chased it towards my grandpa, and he hit the ferret with his spade.. It was taken down by a grandpa with a shovel?! It doesn't sound that quick to me! If that's the case, then a blind guy with a shotgun could probably take out four or five of them at one time.

Do not underestimate a Belgian grandpa, furious because his chickens are under attack
Steel2Velvet
I wouldn't put it past a Belgian chicken to possibly kick a bit of ferret butt, as well. Those Belgians are a big, strong lot! I've seen the draft horses and the weightlifters.

You come to my place, there´s people (my husband, some friends), three cats and some good music. They´re all Spanish so as soon as you come, they´ll throw a party. I go to your place and use your external hard drive... ...just for a couple of days...
MarcM
I think it is cool that you and your grandfather can do things together. You must have a spry grandfather!
Shawna
big storm here last night... about 11 p.m. I heard a wall-shuddering noise, and I woke up thinking wind and rain would be pouring through my window. Then I went back to sleep. That Ambien is good stuff. This morning there's a huge tall tree outside my back door that's lying on its side, roots pulled up and everything. Blue Fish
Do you know that if you go into another room, close two doors and put some music on you can still hear your landLady crying? I hate it when people are upset....
The Seeker
What is with Angels being the closing song in seemingly all the pubs here? Is this just a UK thing?

Shawna
Back in my more recent pub-closing days the song was "Closing Time." Rather appropriate I always thought.

The Seeker
Yes... it's quite funny though because you've got all those drunk guys with their beer pretending to be tough... and then suddenly they know all the Angels lyrics by heart
