After being shown the different reading rooms and archives and reference sections and told some tidbits about the place's history, everyone went home. In the afternoon I realised that the sort of book I need for my assignment was nowhere in the vicinity of where I stay. So I hopped on a train and headed back to aforementioned library. I was excited at first but then went to the website for the musical and the woman playing Janis doesn't fit. She has blonde hair and not bad looking. I don't know if I could sit through 2 hours of watching someone who doesn't resemble Janis in some way, at least she should have brown hair and downplay the makeup. Janis wasn't a big makeup person. I'm the only freak in the library who prefers to take notes using a ballpoint pen and a few sheets of paper to typing them up. Everyone else plugs into their lappies. Me, I prefer looking intellectual and arty. So when was the last time you wrote something (that was more than a couple of words like in a shopping list)?
