Shawna
Carl laughed at me because I thought that seeing geese flying by my place was such a novelty, and he says where he lives they see them every day, no big deal. But when he came out here and saw a coyote, he was just as in awe, and it was my turn to laugh because we see those every day. I guess it all just depends on what you're used to. Farin
I once heard a story about a star (can't remember who, but a big one) cutting short an interview in Munich because they were so fascinated with seeing falling snow for the first time

The Seeker
The only time something like that ever happened to me was in Germany... near the border to Switzerland I think, and there was this tiny mountain which no one thought even deserved to be called a mountain... but I was in awe. I'd never seen something that big before. (and I haven't again since then)
