Lucky
All the songs Ry listed are likely to get my vote except for Digging in the Dirt and Excitable Boy Message in a Bottle.
Lea
And my second nomination: Let's Work Together -- Canned Heat This will definitely get my vote. The Canned Heat song I nominated a while back as I recall didn't do to good. I hope this one has better luck.
Lea
Message In A Bottle ~ The Police I Thank You ~ ZZ Top Hey Hey, My My (Into The Black) ~ Neil Young I’ve Seen All Good People ~ Yes I love all of these. Depending on the rest of the noms depends on whether they will fit into my ten.
Lea
Pumping on Your Stereo ~ Supergrass I really liked the video but didn't care much for the song. Cool video tho.
edna
Pumping on Your Stereo ~ Supergrass Hey, I love this one, Martin!! I never heard it before nor the band... I could vote for it if there´s not 10 Airplane/Stones/Françoise Hardy/Gainsbourg nominations...
Farin
Hey, I love this one, Martin!! I never heard it before nor the band... I could vote for it if there´s not 10 Airplane/Stones/Françoise Hardy/Gainsbourg nominations... glad you like it I nominated Alright by the same band a couple months ago, because I thought some people would like it... it sounds like it's straight from the 60s imho
edna
Yes, this one sounds more "famous" to me... but I like "Pumping On Your Stereo" better...
edna
I cannot find "Frozen Smiles" by Nash&Crosby... so next time I will nominate again "Immigration Man" - Crosby and Nash and "Still The Same" - Bob Seger Or maybe "1983 (A Merman I Should Turn To Be)" - Jimi Hendrix
_Laurie_
Good song by Crosby and Nash, but not one of my favorites....I could consider it depending on other noms!

_Laurie_
Samba Pa Ti ~ Santana A beautiful instrumental.
Lucky
Without listening, just a quick run through for the songs I know, Jimi, yes, Seger, yes, Tommy James, yes, Carlos Santana, yes! C,S,N...probably not, Chumbawumba... oh no! It's not a bad song, but I probably wouldn't put it in the ten. Good Lord, what an earworm it is though!! A couple of early 70's goodies: I Can Help ~ Billy Swan Mr Big Stuff ~ Jean Knight (lots of "Awwwww's in the video, if you want to watch it) I'm in a 70's mood: Watching The River Run ~ Loggins & Messina ( I love their harmonies) Edited December 28, 2007 by Guest
edna
Tubthumping ~ Chumbawamba This one is funny... I might vote for it... Mexican Radio ~ Wall of Voodoo I don´t like Wall of Voodoo...nor this song... Draggin' The Line I like this one, Laurie, but it will depend on the other nominations... Samba Pa Ti ~ Santana Yes... Lucky: Billy Swan could get my vote, but not Jean Knight... and I don´t like much the L&M song...
The Seeker
I thought about nominating Samba Pa Ti... I'll definitely vote for it. One of my nominations: Mas Que Nada -- Sergio Mendes & Brasil 66 A bit unusual I guess.
edna
Mas Que Nada -- Sergio Mendes & Brasil 66 A bit unusual I guess. But very good... I might nominate "Eyes that see in the dark" - Kenny Rogers (with Barry Gibb??) Pity Dolly Parton isn´t there...
bluesboy
One of my nominations: Mas Que Nada -- Sergio Mendes & Brasil 66 A bit unusual I guess. I'm the only one who voted for it back in week #45.
Lea
I was going to nominate Purple Rain by Prince for the next ten but they removed the video from youtube. I hate it when they do that I used to have it on cd but I bet I can't find the cd either would you guys have voted for it? If so I might try to find the cd Laurie: Samba Pa Ti by Santana is one of my favorites by him and yes I would vote for it. I was thinking about nominating it a while back but didn't think it stood a chance because it is an instrumental. I was waiting for a special ten for instrumentals to nominate it Edited December 29, 2007 by Guest
