_Laurie_
Thanks Lucky...That song always brings me back to the 70's...very sentimental song... and I love just about anything by Gladys and those cool Pips! Edited March 12, 2007 by Guest needed one more Pip!
TheLizard
I'll be shocked if I get any votes for either of these... No Cars Go- Arcade Fire The Devil in the Kitchen- Ashley MacIssac (Pretty bad sound on the video, but it'll have to do)

OLD 55
Bus Stop - The Hollies Graham Nash makes an appearance in this video (at about 2.02 into it) when the teenager becomes the distinguished forty-ish grey haired man. I Heard It Through The Grapevine - Creedence Clearwater Revival An edited version - not the full one. Also a bit soft - I like my CCR country rock loud. Crank up the volume, despite complaints from your Mother, Father, Sister, Brother, Spouse, Partner, Neighbors, Howling Pets, whoever/whatever. bluesboy
Boilermaker - Stevie Ray Vaughan (1985) This song was an outtake on the Soul to Soul Sessions and is only on the SRV Box Set, but it should have been included on that album. It's such a dynamite instrumental. Peter Gunn - Henry Mancini (1959)

OLD 55
If You Leave Me Now is another good one also! I nominated that unsuccessfully some time ago, Laurie. I believe it's one of the greatest songs of the 70s.

Farin
Don't Look Back In Anger ~ Oasis (1996) Video I'm not really an Oasis fan, but this song is my second favourite (after Wonderwall) and simply has to get to the Top Ten sometime... 1979 ~ The Smashing Pumpkins (1996) Video at first I wanted to nominate "Tonight, Tonight", but I after I didn't find a specific live-performance video of it on youtube (that I've seen there before) nonetheless it's a very cool song
OLD 55
Thanks Farin ! I must be getting older than I thought; I think I like the 3 minutes 40 seconds AM version better. Love that bass guitar. However I'll certainly accept votes for either version. The Pink Floyd/Led Zeppelin fans might go for the 11 minute version.
