Rayzor Posted July 11, 2012 Report Posted July 11, 2012 What? Gluten free? What's that mean? Some kinda west-coast hippie talk...
Uncle Joe Posted July 11, 2012 Report Posted July 11, 2012 Hot Italian sausage sandwich on Liscio's bread with a Jersey tomato salad on the side with long hots.
pinkstones Posted July 11, 2012 Report Posted July 11, 2012 What? Gluten free? What's that mean? Some kinda west-coast hippie talk... Not quite. People with Celiac disease can't process gluten, which is a protein found in wheat, rye, barley, and other grains. It makes them ill, much the same way someone who is lactose-intolerant would get sick if they ate ice cream or consumed some other dairy product. As such, they need to eat foods that are gluten-free.
MarcM Posted July 11, 2012 Report Posted July 11, 2012 I dont have a problem with gluten, but I do like the TJ gluten free pancakes. They almost taste like the crepes from the Municipal House of Pancakes. I really like the texture.
Rayzor Posted July 11, 2012 Report Posted July 11, 2012 ^^^ ^^^ What's wrong with bacon & eggs wrapped in a pancake? That's my favorite breakfast
