Kevin
I hope they now give Google Degrees ... or at least include an asterisk ... That's all you kids are entitled to , now , at best ... Try the library .
Levis
I do... I can access the uni library's database of journals and complete articles from the website. But our profs usually recommend doing a quick search on Google Scholar or the like to see if an article is available online (or in the library database) before trudging out to find an entire book. This is the age of broadband, you know?
Kevin
" Trudging " : well we wouldn't want anyone to do that now , would we ?! That's almost like ... work .
Levis
Why go to the city when you can get everything - sourced and referenced - online? Adobe Reader is your friend Also - thanks to the State Library's electronic databases - no one goes there to search for a book. They check if the books they need are actually there before they go. I'm afraid that's what the world has come to
Levis
Also - the library has none of Mr. Jandt's books, but the electronic databases gave me an article him that is very similar to the one I had in mind
Kevin
Oh , wonderful . That beautiful library you showed us is generally empty , then . Why pay tuition fees ?! I guess it gives you more time to play video games , or something , though .
Levis
Why pay tuition fees? I have no idea - I'm perpetually asking the same question. The library is full of students studying - not looking for books as much as making use of their own books (and laptops). Also, it's the State Library - it's free

Levis
Uff, if you're using that logic then obviously nothing is free, duh. Even I know that and I'm a dork.
Kevin
Sorry about the logic . What was I thinking ?!
Levis
I dunno. If "nothing" is free, then word "free" becomes completely superfluous and should immediately be removed from the English language. But since it exists (and even has synonyms) it must imply that some things are free My logic is not very straightforward

miamisammy29
Sammy, what's with the " *insert post-related smileys here* " ? Not really sure. It started off as just a neat looking thing, but it became a habit. It also makes it a lot easier to find my posts when I need to. And now to you: What's up with the bag on the head? I know Belgians aren't the most handsome people in the world. But are they really THAT ugly?
