Tenacious_Peaches
I meant the song, not the actual act, silly. Oh, and...
TheLizard
I'm leaving in a little over a week, and I can't help but feel like nobody gives a damn.
Kevin
I do . I know your mind is pumped full of coming keg parties and panty raids right now , but I still wish you could take a moment away from that now and reconsider playing football with us- won't take too much time , afterall . TheLizard
I meant, you know, my so called "friends" from the real world. Dork.
Kevin
That's just how it is for many people . High School really is just a small step in the bigger scheme of things . I wish more teens would understand that .
skybluesky
Tim, you have to consider that most of your friends will be leaving too, so it's not that they don't give a damn about you, they just are wrapped up in their own leaving. TheLizard
I'm leaving before them. And going a lot further away. And I'm the most important. I'm not sure why they haven't figured that out yet. And I'm aware of the triviality of high school, but considering we bore that horrible triviality together, I kind of thought that might mean something. edna
I´m not leaving, I´m staying cause I have to work to feed one husband, three cats and a landlord... :beady: And I wish I had a week to relax, I wouldn´t give a damn if no one gave a damn... Enjoy your holiday, Tim... Your real life frends are sure much too busy with their own vacations... which is human...
skybluesky
Tim, all important person of the universe, is leaving for college, not just a vacation. I forgot you rule the freaking world Tim. Can you forgive me?

TheLizard
No, my dad always told me to avoid Japanese 'oddities' unless I want to get the clap.
Kevin
Clapless ' oddities ' - or shall we say items of interest .
skybluesky
If by oddities Kevin means sandals and a kimono, run away fast Tim. You're too sassy to be a good Geisha.
Kevin
No , as Tim is a fiddle player ,too , I was thinking , perhaps , of a Shamisen - a 3 stringed 'banjo' that any fiddle player can quickly pick up as it's just like playing pizzicatto . Kevin
And I'm aware of the triviality of high school, but considering we bore that horrible triviality together, I kind of thought that might mean something. Imagine you are going from AAA baseball to the pros now - that's the way it is . A very few may keep in touch and care but for most, you are a ' star ' now and likely can't be bothered , and nor can they unless you hook up in the big leagues , now . High School sentiment is fading notably as we speak - it's as though it never happened , for some already ...
Kevin
The whining of Georgia : They were the first aggressors ; wanted to join NATO , etc. - intolerable from a Russian stand point . Don't believe a word of it . This conflict , with Russia coming off a 'Super Bowl ' loss in Afghanistan , needs to win this one for world peace to prevail . Remember how Grenada resurged the Yanks after Vietnam ! Georgia, and many of those little abortion countries that appeared in the breakup of the U.S.S.R. will eventually be reclaimed as they make no geographic nor economic sense . final word : the republic of Georgia is a joke in itself -geez ! give the Russians a break , eh ?!
