katie_sane
Farewell Aunty Jack, we know you'll be back.....
OLD 55
I think you'd have to be Australian to understand, Katie. Hmm! If Shadows doesn't vote, she'll kick herself if "Don't Dream It's Over" misses out. If it gets in, they're an Australian Band. If it misses out they must be New Zealanders ! (They're really a mix of both, with the dominating force behind the Band being En Zedders, the Finn Brothers).
c_s_1987
Ah, it would be great if they started showing episodes of Aunty Jack over here. I think I'd better stop talking about it though - this is yet another thing that more than 90% of people here don't know anything about.
katie_sane
I think there is a grand total of three Aussies who post frequently on Songfacts. So you, me and Darryl will always understand!
OLD 55
Hi Katie and Chris. Strange, I saw some old footage of the show recently, and I didn't think it was as funny as I used to. Same with some other old shows I've gotten from the Video/DVD Libary, except for "The Late Show"(brilliant). Must be getting old !
Farin
since it's now in the middle of the night in New Zealand, I don't think that shadows is gonna vote this time, so without further ado... edna
Elton John double winner... "Gimme Some Loving" on Top... Good! I had to edit my post as I had forgotten to vote for The Spencer Davies Group...
Malakin
Awesome.. I couldn't believe Gimme Some Lovin hadn't made the list yet either, but I didn't expect it to be a #1!! Go team!
blind-fitter
I can't say that this Top 10 inspires me a great deal... Nice that Raspberry Beret made it this time round, though. When I nominated it earlier this year, it came nowhere...
Shawna
When I nominated it earlier this year, it came nowhere... that has happened to a couple of my original noms, too, b-f. I take credit anyway.
Farin
there are some great songs but it just seems impossible to get a 90's song in the Ten, let alone on #1...
