Dappled
Everything That Touches You - Association Video Coming Back To Me - Jefferson Airplane From allmusic.com: If you had never heard of Jefferson Airplane and someone played you the recording of "Comin' Back to Me," you'd swear that it was written by a 16th century English minstrel. The music is a blend of a hypnotic melody and some graceful, creamy folk-based chords that are somewhat reminiscent of David Crosby's "Everybody's Been Burned." Lyrically, it is similar to Neil Young's "Expecting to Fly" in that it uses the change of seasons to cast a reflection of the state of mind that occurs while falling in or out of love. An engrossing piece of consciousness, it's one of Marty Balin's finest songs and would later influence some of his compositions, such as "Miracles" and "With Your Love." Beautiful love songs are never wrong! Edited September 25, 2006 by Guest
