Good Grief ! We'll probably get "The Who Songbook" nominated ! Hands off "Happy Jack" - that's mine. I nominated it once before, but changed it when 2 others nominated Who songs also.

Or will it be ? I may just try to get an 80s #1. ANY 80s Fans out there ?

:headphones:

WHAT HAVE I STARTED !!! NOT A WHO-A-THON.

I'll save my Who nomination for another time. I've already gotten their best song into our Top Ten anyway (Substitute, of course).

Maybe I'll consider nominating:

Ice Ice Baby (good opening riff - wonder where Vanilla Ice got it from ?) and maybe a Michael Bolton song. Then you couldn't accuse me of trying to get to #1.

Or Liberace and 2Pac, unless Edna beats me to it.

Yes Chris. A note of sarcasm. I think that's what he changed - one or a very few notes. Queen successfully obtained damages from him.

That's my biggest beef against Rippers/Rappers. If they want to use real music to talk over the top of, fine, but pay the composers/ musicians !

:P

P.S. Congratulations on the West Coast Eagles win over Sydney. I wonder what Katie will say ! I copied you and changed my Avatar too, because the Brisbane Broncos beat Melbourne last night as you'd know. For those poor mystified people outside Australia, we play FOUR different codes of Football here (5 if you count the small minority who play Gridiron. We can't really understand why you need 2 separate teams in the 1 team.

We just have one team of players who attack AND defend).

}:( }:( }:( }:( }:(

I'm not happy. First, we lose the AFL (I'm not a fan, but }:( ) and then there is no team from NSW in the big one, the Rugby League grandfinal! What a waste. But, I was supporting the Broncos last night, glad they got up over the Storm. It'd be sad if those Mexicans won :D :D :D

So I'll just leave my avatar as it is, shall I? :D

I think it's only fair that if there are two consecutive AFL grand finals between Sydney and the Eagles decided by less than one goal, each team should win one. :)

Congratulations on the Broncos' victory. Although to give you an idea of how much more popular AFL is in WA than NRL, the NRL grand final was a delayed telecast over here - starting at 11pm, about 2 hours after the game finished.

...The big one, the Rugby League grandfinal!

That part of your post sounds very strange to us Sandgropers. :P
