Kevin
Come Undone - Duran Duran This is their best song , IMO , by far ! Not sure why it didn't make more waves ... after ' their prime ' ( exposure ) , I guess ...
OLD 55
Illegitimate ? We didn't say it was a B...... of a song b-f. Uncle Joe gets an extra one too. It was just getting too cumbersome to see which songs have already been in previous Top Tens, so Farin and I decided to print a list of them at the start of each new Top Ten thread. Aren't we good to you all ! Also, welcome to The Seeker. I think it's the first time we've seen you in our Top Tens, and you've got edna's votes already. Here's my Nominations: Mellow Yellow - Donovan Mr.Tambourine Man - The Byrds .................................................
Levis
Really? Here the most taxis are Mercedes... You're not serious! I didn't know that This is their best song , IMO , by far ! Not sure why it didn't make more waves ... after ' their prime ' ( exposure ) , I guess ... It's my favourite too. I didn't think of myself as much of a Duran fan so I was quite shocked to find myself liking this song an awful lot
Farin
Mellow Yellow - Donovan Mr.Tambourine Man - The Byrds I can't believe nobody nominated them before... I'll nominate again two more recent songs: Alive ~ Pearl Jam (possibly my favourite Pearl Jam song) Do You Want To ~ Franz Ferdinand For all those who don't know the songs I'll post them in the Random Music Video thread
Farin
You're not serious! I didn't know that Yes, I'm serious. Though I don't use a taxi often (or ever), I believe quite a few of them have a star in the front . But there are also VW (no beetles, sorry ) or any other brand. Of course most a middle class. Not "S-Klasse" or anything
Levis
Oh whew... I've seen so many varieties, sedans, vans, sports cars and swweet little mini cars. And I am quite enamoured by the mini-cooper. I am shocked! How can you not have any Beetles running around? They're YOUR cars!
Farin
I didn't say we have no Beetles, but no Beetle Taxis. But Beetles are getting rare, too (too old, I guess) but there is the "New Beetle" But I was in fact talking about taxis, our 'normal' cars are of course all kinds, brands, sizes, varieties as anywhere else in the world (or in Europe ) I like the design of the mini cooper. But can you tell me, why such a small car costs so much money?
The Seeker
Tell the truth, Seeker, you posted these ones for me, right? ;)They might be #1 & 2 in my list... Especially for you, yes. Levis
The Beetle isn't a cheapie either. And someplace does have Beetle taxis... I forget which place. green Bugs I have a beautiful silver-blue regular Beetle standing a few blocks down. It's gorgeous and shiny and sparkly and I feel like putting a small mark on it, or hanging a lemon and a couple of chillies from it just to avert the Evil Eye. It's bright and sparkly and shiny. Curses, I can't think of anything bad to say about it... uh, it's number plate clashes with the rest of it. Ah...

Steel2Velvet
This Masquarade - George Benson The only song to ever hold number one chart positions in the Billboard Top 40 Pop, R&B and Jazz charts - simultaneously. This is also a nod to this masterpiece's writer, who will probably never make our top ten with his voice, the extremely well-respected Leon Russell. The Rose - Bette Midlar Could this be our first number one female artist? Her talent certainly deserves the recognition.
