Levis Posted October 24, 2006 Report Posted October 24, 2006 I heard Present Tense by Pearl Jam after a long long time... so that could be it too. This is definitely not possible
Red Fish Posted October 24, 2006 Report Posted October 24, 2006 I have a hard time picking favorites. But today I'll go with... Favorite band: DC Talk Favorite song: The Hardway ... and tomorrow it'll be some other group and some other song.
Blue Fish Posted November 2, 2006 Report Posted November 2, 2006 Woah! I may never ask you anything again Farin...
The Seeker Posted November 2, 2006 Report Posted November 2, 2006 My current favourite song is Teenage Anxiety by Humble Pie.
Farin Posted November 2, 2006 Report Posted November 2, 2006 Woah! I may never ask you anything again Farin... I warned you, that I can't / don't like to decide things like that...
Blue Fish Posted November 2, 2006 Report Posted November 2, 2006 the truth is told in that statment Farin...
blind-fitter Posted November 2, 2006 Report Posted November 2, 2006 Favourite Band: Rudimentary Peni Favourite song: "The Story Of The Blues" by The Mighty Wah
Blue Fish Posted November 3, 2006 Report Posted November 3, 2006 I've never heard of any of those blind-fitter...
blind-fitter Posted November 3, 2006 Report Posted November 3, 2006 I can understand you having never heard of Rudimentary Peni. They are relatively obscure /"minority interest": though legendary in certain circles. "The Story Of The Blues" by The Mighty Wah!, on the other hand, reached No.3 in the UK charts, back in 1982. Naturally it features on the bands double CD "Best Of.." compilation "The Handy Wah! Whole". (I think there's a dreadful pun somewhere in that title...)
blind-fitter Posted November 3, 2006 Report Posted November 3, 2006 Well, I wasn't born in 1964, but I still find "All Day And All of the Night" worth a listen...
Levis Posted November 3, 2006 Report Posted November 3, 2006 (calculating)... that's right... you weren't born in 1964
The Seeker Posted November 3, 2006 Report Posted November 3, 2006 95% of the music I listen to was made at least 7 years before I was born.
Blue Fish Posted November 3, 2006 Report Posted November 3, 2006 95% of the music I listen to was made at least 7 years before I was born. actully, same with me. though maybe not such a high precentage...
Farin Posted November 3, 2006 Report Posted November 3, 2006 just imagine someone likes classical music...
The Seeker Posted November 3, 2006 Report Posted November 3, 2006 For some reason I find this extremely funny.
Farin Posted November 3, 2006 Report Posted November 3, 2006 I meant it in the context we were talking about...
Blue Fish Posted November 3, 2006 Report Posted November 3, 2006 just imagine someone likes classical music... I like classical music!!
The Seeker Posted November 3, 2006 Report Posted November 3, 2006 I meant it in the context we were talking about... I just knew that someone would either get me wrong or deliberately misunderstand me.
Blue Fish Posted November 3, 2006 Report Posted November 3, 2006 Wait! are we talking Bach classical or old style music classical???
The Seeker Posted November 3, 2006 Report Posted November 3, 2006 What do you mean by old style music classical?
Blue Fish Posted November 3, 2006 Report Posted November 3, 2006 What do you mean by old style music classical? forget the Classical bit, that was a typeo...
Farin Posted November 3, 2006 Report Posted November 3, 2006 we were talking about how we like older music, that was written at least 7 years before Seeker's birth... so I meant "Bach classical", that was written 200+ years before our birth...
