Tenacious_Peaches
There seem to be enough obsessed 24 freak here to warrant a thread devoted to it. I started watching it this season (season 5). I've since watched Season 1 (reverently capitalized) and am halfway through Season 2. I can't get enough of it. Mags says that I have become even more violent since I started watching it and my violence is rubbing off on her. I plan on killing her any day now. daslied
It's about time. Good job, Peaches. Everyone needs to establish what they have or haven't seen yet so we don't get all spoiler crazy. I don't want to have to bust out a wet towel on anybody. Oops. I've seen them all, so I ain't scared.

I plan on killing her any day now. It's about time. Good job, Peaches. Are you both trying to kill me. Is this some sort of conspiracy between both of you. I'm a little scared. I have just now confirmed that Peaches is Big Brother and is plotting against me. Where is my wet towel?
daslied
Whoops! Typically I start to read what Peaches writes and then kind of zone out. :happybanana:
steel magnolia
I do the same when she's talking. She's pretty much used to it.
Tenacious_Peaches
I have identified Mags and das as terrorists and will terminate the both of you with extreme prejudice. Or at the very least pop your eyeballs out.
daslied
That's the most George W. sounding thing I've ever heard. The reasoning behind it is also eerily similar.
Tenacious_Peaches
Sweet Jesus, I take it all back. Please don't ever make that comparison again. I'll do whatever you want.

phil
24 is a great show. Most of TV is Gah-bage, but that show is done well.
SoulGirl
i love love love love love love 24! i have seen Series 1-3, all excellent, although Seasons One obviously had the advantage of being fresh and innovative. i loved Season Three more than Season Two. i'm very excited about watching the next season when i get the discs sorted. Jack Bauer *swooooooooooooooon* oh and i think 'Dessler' is the best way ever to answer the phone!
Ken
Same here, I love 24. Interesting thing about 24... If you play Euchre, the highest, or, most powerful cards in the deck are the Bauers. And they are Jacks. Jack Bauer. Ever count how many cards there are in the Euchre deck? Yep.....24. Weird, innit? Ken.

SoulGirl
no wonder, she has the most beautiful doll face and she's an action hero! she was sooooooooooooooo cool when she went out on the field!!!
Tenacious_Peaches
I'm only half way through the second season, so I haven't seen her kick can yet, but I do like her. I just want to "open a socket". I don't even know what the *&^% that means, but it sounds very cool and nerd-like.
daslied
She's so hot my eyes actually burn a little when I see her. I dig me some unusual looking women. In five years of watching, Peaches, I have yet to learn what "opening a socket" means. I also like "send it to my screen". Maybe by "a socket" they mean "a miscreant" and by "open" they mean "Jack go kill"?
Tenacious_Peaches
Is she unusual looking? I think she's beautiful. Does she morph into unusual later on in the seasons? Miscreant...
daslied
Yes, in Season 4 she grows a tail. And I don't mean "takes a dump". I guess she's unusual looking. I haven't found any other guys who are hot for her. I should just assume that they're stupid. But I'd rather stare at someone with interesting features than someone like Pamela Anderson. Speaking of Pam, how much tupperware do you think we could make out of her?
Tenacious_Peaches
But I'd rather stare at someone with interesting features than someone like Pamela Anderson. I can tell you've been around women your whole life. You know exactly what to say to make a crowd of women go "Awwww, isn't he wonderful?" Hey ladies, isn't das wonderful? Jenny
I agree, Peaches, kudos to the man who appreciates real women. As the great Sir Mix-A-Lot said: "Silicone parts are made for toys"
SoulGirl
Hey ladies, isn't das wonderful? well, y'all already know i agree with that one! just watched first four episodes. f****** brilliant! i want to cancel my night out and stay in and watch it all. goddamn this having a social life thing!!! i suppose michelle is a little different from your usual conventional beauty but i think she's beautiful, that porcelain skin! not a fan of audrey AT ALL though! daslied
Ladies, please. Continue. Hey Gisela, I didn't know Irish people said "y'all". I thought that was the exclusive domain of us rednecks.
SoulGirl
well... we don't actually. in fact, any of my irish friends and family would disown me if they knew i'd said that... please don't tell anyone?! in cork for the plural of 'you' we say 'ye'... it's very shakespearean of us! daslied
I won't tell, but they'd certainly be within their rights. "Ye" is much cooler than "y'all". Cooler still is the fact that you live in a city called "Cork".
