OLD 55
Well it looks like I made them a bit tougher this time. Thanks to all who've had a go. The answers were all very thoughtful and we have 6 of them now. Well done. #2 Peaches with Goodbye Yellow Brick Road / Elton John #3 Edna, Sounds Of Silence / Simon & Garfunkel #4 Das, Walk - Don't Run / The Ventures #6 Laurie, I Can See For Miles / The Who #8 Laurie, Sugar Shack / Jimmy Gilmer & The Fireballs #9 Peaches, Crazy / Patsy Cline. ................................................. Numbers 1, 5, 7 and 10 to go. Don't forget, these are only songs that I like. So I am "grading" them to an extent, so the top few, #1 especially, are going to be ones I'm very fond of. #1 Das' answer was very good. It is a superstar's song. #5 is not really by one of my favorite Groups, but I like it. #7 you've gone very close to. By a Group also. #10 was a much bigger Hit in the U.K. They didn't really make it big in the U.S.
