Cheval Noir Posted April 6, 2006 Report Posted April 6, 2006 It's the "third version" from the Munch musee that was stolen. I got that from wikipedia
Farin Posted April 6, 2006 Report Posted April 6, 2006 If I remember correctly, Munch himself painted four versions, but with different techniques (oil, pastel etc.)
Farin Posted April 18, 2006 Report Posted April 18, 2006 This is a pavement drawing of an artist called Julian Beever:
Shawna Posted April 19, 2006 Report Posted April 19, 2006 I think there's more than one of "The Scream" by Munch and, yes, one of them was stolen and never recovered. What the heck do you do with a hot world-known piece of artwork? Can't sell it... can't display it and have friends over...
edna Posted April 19, 2006 Report Posted April 19, 2006 What the heck do you do with a hot world-known piece of artwork? Can't sell it... can't display it and have friends over... You must be patient, wait for a couple of years, then contact the guys from the black market... I´ll PM you some numbers...

Steel2Velvet Posted April 22, 2006 Report Posted April 22, 2006 That man is amazing... And so is the Boy Wonder! Oh, you meant the artist....
Sweet Jane 61 Posted April 26, 2006 Report Posted April 26, 2006 Jane , wasn't "The Scream " stolen a few years ago ( in one of the easiest heists ever ) , and as far as I know , still never been recovered ? Who knows ? Maybe you'll be able to pick it somewhere . Kevin, I had read about that, and they did say it was easy as you stated. So maybe it is around somewhere...mmmm...wonder where that could be??? It is such a moving paiting. I love it.
Uncle Joe Posted April 26, 2006 Report Posted April 26, 2006 I think I've found the missing painting and it's rip-off copy.

Steel2Velvet Posted May 19, 2006 Report Posted May 19, 2006 A horn up the geebies for a sword in the back ...... seems fair to me.
phil Posted May 21, 2006 Report Posted May 21, 2006 I know. Who was the guy who thought slicing and dicing a cow in a funny looking suit is considered a sport.
Shawna Posted May 21, 2006 Report Posted May 21, 2006 only part of that "sport" I would enjoy is watching the guy get the horn up the geebies.
