DrCowbell
I'm going to be a total geek and make a playlist on my iPod relating to songs about Caifornia, songs with California in the title. (I want to keep myself motivated about a future move there, maybe and a near future trip to a friend's house!) I know the obvious ones (Led Zeppelin, Phantom Planet, The Eagles, Mamas and the Papas) but can help me out here by completing the list I have going? California Girls California Dreaming California Hotel California California Uber Alles (doesn't all have to be positive!) It Never Seems To Rain in Southern California California Love *(maybe...I will be in the Southern part) L.A. Woman Nobody Walks in L.A. Los Angeles

blind-fitter
Kings Of Leon: California Waiting Re "California Uber Alles": as well as the original Dead Kennedys versions (single and album are quite different from each other), there is also an excellent cover by Disposable Heroes of Hiphoprisy, which is radically different again.
