Kevin
Although I would like Pittsburg to win , I'll agree with Joe that people have underestimated the Seahawks so ; Seattle 24 / Pittsburg 20 I'll also predict no wardrobe malfunctions at halftime ... _Laurie_
well I've got it narrowed down to two teams, Pittsburgh, Seattle....hmmmm, but I don't know who will score the first run.
PSYCHOcatholic
They are having a city wide contest here if a team scores a touchdown on the first kickoff or the first kickoff of the second quarter.
Lucky
They are betting on everything! I think it will be Seattle, (since I don't care for Seattle), though I'd rather the winner was Pittsburg!

Shawna
I'm in a real quandary here, cuz I just found out that Pittsburgh is the reason my Chargers didn't get the Wild Card, but Seattle is my ex's team, and I don't like anything about him right now... grrrrrrrr
Tenacious_Peaches
I predict that I will watch the pre-game show for Stevie Wonder and then watch the "America's Next Top Model" marathon on VH1 until midnight. Football, shmootball.
_Laurie_
I'll Join Ya Peachy!......I think Seattle will win, they have the better lookin uniforms.
miamisammy29
Dolphins 14, Redskins 7......no, wait, that was Super Bowl VII....okay then...mmmmm... Steelers 24, Seahawks 15. What a coincidence...I'll win 400 bucks if that's the final score. Watch for Joey Porter to dominate the game on defense, creating a BIG fumble late in the game while Seattle is attempting to come back.
Kevin
Well . fridge is full of beers ; bought frozen pizza and spring rolls , chips and made some dip ; just officially called in ' sick ' -- so what time does the game start ? It's now ~ 7:40 am (MON) here ...
miamisammy29
It is now 5:52pm here. The game starts at approximately 6:18pm. You do the math. The Stones should come on at approximately 8:00pm or so. They better not lip sync; that's all I'm sayin'. You don't think they'll do "Stray Cat Blues" or "Star Star", do ya? Kevin
... or "Respectable " ? I was wondering this very thing this morning : I'll bet "Start Me Up " and "Satisfaction" as they would have the broadest appeal ( and be most well known ) for those who like them as well as ...the others . Any other calls ? A medley ?
miamisammy29
I'm gonna guess "Rough Justice" or "Tumbling Dice". I'd say "Oh No, Not You Again", but that has a couple f-bombs in it, too. They're actually taking bets in Vegas on what they're gonna open with. I'm thinking both the bookies and the Stones could make a bundle on that one. All they have to do is "have a little talk" with Mick and have them open with "Little Indian Girl".

Kevin
Wow . What a def. chess game ( and careless off. so far .. ) : 4th and 6inches , the Seahawks punt -- even with the best RB in the NFL this year -- R-E-S-P-E-C-T ! -- or their ' chicken' . It was really nice of the NFL to provide a little entertainment before ( and after ) The Stones concert ... Lovin' the little Stones ditties between plays ! :guitar: Revised prediction , now : Seahawks 17 / Steelers
Kevin
The fix is in . } B.S. TD and tons of penalties ... Bring on the Stones ! PS : D . Jackson : stay inbounds , please . Seattle is starting to panic ... Ahhh ! The time has come ... great stage ! Edited February 6, 2006 by Guest the best half -time ever ... Kevin
A shame ... this game resembled a mid-October clash rather than a championship game ! } No doubt about it , though , well done Pittsburg -- a Hell of a hill to climb ! Amazing !
Batman
I watched part of it, and thought it was a rather boring super bowl. Ah well. No Northwest pride this year. The Stones were pretty good. Mick Jagger's arms looked like my grandma's arms. I liked his little dance things he did. I wonder how much longer they'll be playing for? Kevin
What's this about grandmothers and old ladies ' ' sexiness' lately , Batman ? You're right , though , it was a crappy game .
Shawna
The Stones were pretty good. Mick Jagger's arms looked like my grandma's arms. Two things: 1) He sounded to me like he was totally out of breath when singing "Satisfaction" and it made my lungs hurt; 2) in homage to another thread here, THAT is old, not sexy, not attractive. It's the reversal, Batman, of your "older is unsexy" thing. Mick is just flat uuuugly.

It was strange, I saw Mick's arms, and he wanted everyone to think about sex and drugs and rock n roll, but it made me think about having supper at grandma's house.
