It's snowing! Where did this white crap come from?

Currently -4 C (-10 with the windchill factor)... which is 25 F (feels like 14) for you Americans out there.

It's not cold, but I was glad we'd been going for so long without snow. Oh well... winter's here I guess.

Calling for storms over the weekend :couch:

 Try not to freeze Pinky!

Our storm was a dud. Less than a foot of snow and I woke up to -6 C (21 F) temps. I look outside and all seems calm. Winter wonderland.

I'll bet the snowmobilers are happy!

It is SO windy outside right now. Very unexpected. We are expecting possibly the first rain of the season on Wednesday, but this wind is crazy - and three days early! I hope it doesn't blow down any of the beautiful Christmas lights covering our front yard.

Wind? RAIN? The wind here has made it just chilly enough so that a man's gonads will seek refuge in his throat and women are stuffing children back into their wombs to keep them warm. The icicles that have formed on many trees have broken off and damaged cars in the street. The streets & sidewalks themselves are just a sheet of ice...

But you're worried it may rain? I bet that wind could be cold too, eh? :jester:

But you're worried it may rain?

Did I say I was worried? I'm looking forward to it! It doesn't rain here often enough. The wind was a surprise, though. But it looks like the Christmas lights survived.

It was nearly -40 this morning and it's supposed to dip down that far again tonight. In case you're wondering, that converts either way!

I'm staying indoors for the next week or so...

It's 39F at the moment. I spent about an hour and a half shoveling our driveway; we got about 2-3 inches of snow last night. They said we were supposed to get more, so I'm glad that came to naught. I'd probably still be shoveling.

after a week of freezing (for real - below 32!!) temperatures, today was up to 72 and by mid week it will be up to 79. Oh happy me.

I'd love some of that 72 degree weather, so if you want to share, send some to the Piedmont Triad of North Carolina. We'd be ever so grateful.

Uncle Joe, you have a nice number of posts: 27072 :)

it's a palindrome!

Pink: there's an envelope filled with 72 degree sunshine headed toward the Piedmont Triad area... doesn't hold much, so you'll have to be very selfish with it.
