Tenacious_Peaches Posted February 15, 2006 Report Posted February 15, 2006 60 degrees three days post blizzard....nothing like the good old sun to show 20 inches of snow who is boss. And that would be Tony Danza, correct?
RonJonSurfer Posted February 15, 2006 Report Posted February 15, 2006 I was sitting here trying to think of a witty reply, but the image of Tony Danza has sucked all the wit and intelligence out of me for the moment.
Tenacious_Peaches Posted February 15, 2006 Report Posted February 15, 2006 He's been doing that to the public for years, RonJon.
MarcM Posted February 16, 2006 Report Posted February 16, 2006 The weather is changing! Now it is cold, cloudy and windy with a chance of rain! It was only 65 today. Brrrrrr
Shawna Posted February 16, 2006 Report Posted February 16, 2006 sunny and warm today until about 4, then it got really windy and turned rather chilly...
_Laurie_ Posted February 17, 2006 Report Posted February 17, 2006 we are having up to 65 mph winds with gusts over 70!
Shawna Posted February 17, 2006 Report Posted February 17, 2006 when I was married, there were always gusts around our house. He was a complete windbag.
steel magnolia Posted February 17, 2006 Report Posted February 17, 2006 when I was married, there were always gusts around our house. He was a complete windbag. It is about 75 degrees and sunny here in Georgia.
steel magnolia Posted February 17, 2006 Report Posted February 17, 2006 It won't be like this for too long. It's supposed to get cooler next week. Highs should be in the 50s.
Uncle Joe Posted February 18, 2006 Report Posted February 18, 2006 It was 60 at 11 AM today. It's around 33 now. Tomorrow it's expected to plunge into the teens.
MarcM Posted February 18, 2006 Report Posted February 18, 2006 My father in law will be in Phillie this weekend singing. Some dancing group that calls themselves "Jelly Roll" dances exclusively to his music have invited him to sing live for one of their shows. Sounds strange to me, but hey, whatever floats your boat...
Earth-Angel Posted February 23, 2006 Report Posted February 23, 2006 It snowed while I was driving in to work today and all I could think was "oh please just let it settle and be all white and pretty", but alas, it melted as soon as it hit the windscreen
invisible_r Posted February 23, 2006 Report Posted February 23, 2006 (edited) well, it was pathetic snow! kinda disappointing really Edited February 23, 2006 by Guest
Earth-Angel Posted February 23, 2006 Report Posted February 23, 2006 Maybe your snow was pathetic, but ours was beautiful big flakes that lasted about 3 hours
invisible_r Posted February 23, 2006 Report Posted February 23, 2006 are you saying your snow is better than my snow??? only joking btw, i think london can very rarely get nice snow anyway
Earth-Angel Posted February 23, 2006 Report Posted February 23, 2006 are you saying your snow is better than my snow??? You bet it is!!!
invisible_r Posted February 23, 2006 Report Posted February 23, 2006 snow expected for tomorrow as well. I almost got attacked at work for complaining that it's almost spring and it's really cold. everyone was like, "spring starts in april". well, where i come from, march is supposed to be a spring month!
Earth-Angel Posted February 23, 2006 Report Posted February 23, 2006 Hah! Our snow is still here and I had to scrape it off the car and trample through it and everything! There is a thin blanket on the ground and on the trees still! It is so cool!
