RonJonSurfer
This morning the weather is lot's 'O fun. A little rain, snow, sleet, ice...they are wind-whipped so the ice pellets feel like they are hitting your face and digging in an inch or two. Luckily it should stop and warm up soon. Floydaholic
This morning was cold, at 3 degrees C. My neck is now sore, and so is my back. I feel wrecked.
RonJonSurfer
We hit 12 degrees with a -5 wind chill last week. Today and tomorrow it may hit the mid - 60's. I'll thank Mother Nature for that...

blind-fitter
Bitterly cold, that's how cold it is. But that doesn't matter, because, in a way, that can be quite invigorating. It also enhances one's appreciation of hearth and home. Unless your central heating's broken down, of course; then it's just a swine.
Mars88
blind-fitter, If I may be so bold as to say: you don't know bitterly cold until you have lived through a Saskatchewan winter. We are experiencing a cold snap this week. The temperatures have been as low as minus 36 degree C, with a windchill factored in...it felt more like minus 50's C. The school buses and garbage trucks didn't run for a few days this week because of the frigid temps!

Mars88
Okay, our cold snap snapped, it's only minus 26 degrees Celsius right now. I don't envy you QUITE that much anymore Marc.
Shawna
Being someone who has perpetually cold hands, and hates hates HATES cold weather, I have to question, Mars, why anyone would live where it gets as cold as you describe.
Mars88
You get used to it. And if you don't, by retirement time, you've picked out a nice place in British Columbia. Shawna, It's really beautiful in the summer time, mind you we get the extremes of that too, sometimes getting up to high 30's Celsius.
edna
It´s 6 ºC here, it´s raining and it´s a Sunday... I was told the sun would always be shining in Spain... (well, except for the short nights )
