ryansgirl319
I have never heard of a painting titled "Boulevard of Broken Dreams." Who painted such a painting?
SoulGirl
apparently it's a painting by someone called helnwein. you can see it online: "Dream as if you'll live forever...Live as if you'll die today". Elvis Presley, Marilyn Monroe, James Dean & Humphrey Bogart share their common tales in this classic Diner scene painted by Helnwein it looks more like a poster than a painting
regulardave
damn bloody Lady Marmalade.... I hate that song! I thought it was Bohemian Rhapsody, but i think thats twice (maybe three times) no.1 in UK and only once in US. BTW, what was the answer to the tie breaker question?? Basing a trivia question about a song based on an imitation of a painting is like saying Kenny Roger's "The Gambler" is based on "Dogs Playing Poker"! Lambchop Flansburgh
Jakob Dylan is the lead singer for The Wallflowers. Bob Dylan is his father. Jakob named the band after one of his dad's songs. How can you give more credit to Judas Priest than The Wallflowers? That doesn't even make sense. Beatlemaniac
The really famous painting that looks like Boulevard of Broken Dreams is Nighthawks by Edward Hopper. This lesser-known version is a spoof on the Hopper painting. Still, you guys ask some great questions! Very hard, even for an old-timer like me.
