I wanted to tape "Elena" but it went "Edna"... (yes, it was late, I was a little stoned...) :drummer:

Great story, Elena ! Fortunate , I think, that at least something resembling a name resulted -- it could be worse !

This is the first online forum I have ever joined and having little or no exposure to them, simply typed in my name when asked for it assuming everyone else did as well ( I always bow to the 'authority' of forms :) ). The numbers were assigned by the site -- and they kind of bug me now as I feel like an Alcatraz inmate or a robot or clone when I read it now.

I was gonna go with "Dos Equis," but decided to have another one while I was registering :beer-emoticon:

Kev, you can go to My Home and edit your name to remove the numbers. I did so shortly after I began posting. Check it out.

"Otokichi" was my paternal grandfather's name, and I use it or my middle name on other message boards. I never met Otokichi because in the 1930's he came down with Appendicitis and underwent a routine operation--but never woke from it. Otherwise, I'm "Etsuo," a form of my maternal grandfather's name of "Etsuji." I did try "Renko" once, to recall "Arkady Renko" of the "Gorky Park" books and the "Hill Street Blues" character played by Charles Haid. But there are more "son of" folk out there, so it's back to an unoriginal source. Sorry for the long, off-topic post. :afro:

Uh, no, apparently I missed something there.

That´s an old classic american song... the Beatles played it in Hamburg and you can find it in their very first album with Tony Sheridan. Beautifull song!

Beatles - Ain't She Sweet Lyrics

Oh ain't she sweet,

Well see her walking down that street.

Yes I ask you very confidentially:

Ain't she sweet?

Oh ain't she nice,

Well look her over once or twice.

Yes I ask you very confidentially:

Ain't she nice?

Just cast an eye

In her direction.

Oh me oh my,

Ain't that perfection?

Oh I repeat

Well don't you think that's kind of neat?

Yes I ask you very confidentially:

Ain't she sweet?

Oh ain't she sweet,

Well see her walking down that street.
