Taufel Posted September 13, 2006 Report Posted September 13, 2006 What are the songs that move you the most? When I say move I dont mean, "OMG Ima have to get up and move to this song!" I mean emotionally moving. Hallelujah - Jeff Buckley (Well, almost anything by Jeff, but this is the one that stirs me the most.) Bittersweet Symphony - The Verve (This one is a bit on the fence, the song has the most impact on me when its used in conjuction with the end of Cruel Intentions.) Mad World - Donnie Darko Soundtrack (I appologise for not knowing the actual artist.)
daslied Posted September 13, 2006 Report Posted September 13, 2006 Also by Jeff: Morning Theft and Corpus Christi Carol Tom Waits - I Wish I Was In New Orleans and Fawn Radiohead - No Surprises (the live version with alternate lyrics) Sarah McLachlan - Last Dance John Lennon - Mother

daslied Posted September 13, 2006 Report Posted September 13, 2006 I almost put Tim Buckley's original "Song To The Siren", but that's a good version as well. I think we've already gone back and forth about that once.
blind-fitter Posted September 13, 2006 Report Posted September 13, 2006 Don't be gettin' all sentimental on me....
daslied Posted September 13, 2006 Report Posted September 13, 2006 It's important to share feelings, you know. Give us a hug.
daslied Posted September 13, 2006 Report Posted September 13, 2006 I don't know. It's from a movie. I've recently re-watched the episode of "Arrested Development" where a British woman calls an American man the "p" word, and he is completely brokenhearted. Thanks to you, I was already "in the know" about the difference. That had zero point.
blind-fitter Posted September 13, 2006 Report Posted September 13, 2006 Oh, I thought you were getting fresh with me again.
blind-fitter Posted September 13, 2006 Report Posted September 13, 2006 What do you really know about me?
daslied Posted September 13, 2006 Report Posted September 13, 2006 Apparently you have a wang, which is enough for me to make my decision.
blind-fitter Posted September 13, 2006 Report Posted September 13, 2006 Apparently you have a wang, .... Who told you that?

Ombre Vivante Posted September 13, 2006 Report Posted September 13, 2006 There are so many I have to go with what instantly to mind: "Adagio in G Minor (Giazotto)": An arrangement attributed to Albinoni It's very sad, very moving... and very depressing. I seldom listen to it.
