Sara Posted December 2, 2004 Report Posted December 2, 2004 Hi everyone, I'm sure if you've been looking at our song pages you've noticed the new Amazon link. We recently joined the Amazon associates program because we want you to be able to listen to and/or buy the songs you can read about on the site. This of course has the added benefit of giving us a small commission when someone buys a product. You can help us out by using this link any time you intend to buy something on Amazon: Amazon.com It's a small commission but every little bit helps. Thanks everyone!!! ::
_jr_ Posted December 2, 2004 Report Posted December 2, 2004 On one condition.....you post a pic of you and Carl. LOL.
Sara Posted December 2, 2004 Author Report Posted December 2, 2004 I didn't realize there was a calling to see a picture of us! Well, that would make it hard to keep up the pretense that there's really two of us. How do you know 'Carl' really exists?
TheCyberdemon Posted December 3, 2004 Report Posted December 3, 2004 Sara, I hope you couldn't be that manly.
windy1 Posted December 3, 2004 Report Posted December 3, 2004 c'mon Sara, please? I posted mine and that was scary!!
TheCyberdemon Posted December 3, 2004 Report Posted December 3, 2004 It wouldn't work for me Windy, I suppose when I actually get the pics off of my camera, we can swap or something.
windy1 Posted December 3, 2004 Report Posted December 3, 2004 You got it Dude! Don't I sound stupid saying dude? Reality check Carole, Talk like yourself.
Sara Posted December 3, 2004 Author Report Posted December 3, 2004 The funny thing is....there's already a picture of us on the boards. Maybe I should make you find it. ::
bluesboy Posted December 3, 2004 Report Posted December 3, 2004 You mean there's a current day picture of Carl around here somewhere?
Elvish Posted December 3, 2004 Report Posted December 3, 2004 Hey, Sara. I clicked on the link to do some Christmas shopping and it says "Looking for Something? We're sorry. The Web address you entered is not a functioning page on our site. Please double-check the URL for typos and other errors. Or go to the Amazon.com home page." Help me help you! ::
Earth-Angel Posted December 3, 2004 Report Posted December 3, 2004 Elvy, I just looked for any song and used the link from there. Then you can just change the search criteria when you get to Amazon. When I answer a question from the forum, I take any SF song link to Amazon.com and just change the artist details in the URL to the artist from the query. That way they get the traffic from the site and I know how people get itchy fingers when things are made so easy for them to BUY BUY BUY from Amazon!
Sara Posted December 3, 2004 Author Report Posted December 3, 2004 Think baseball... Hey! No Hints!! Thanks for the heads up Elvish! It would've been a good idea to check my link, now wouldn't it? I can't log in to Amazon right now, they must be overloaded with holiday shoppers. As soon as I can elbow my way in I will fix it! Earth-Angel's method works great too!
Aunt_Acid Posted December 3, 2004 Report Posted December 3, 2004 Well, I couldn't find it. I searched all the posts for baseball. Do you suppose it got deleted?
Mike Posted December 3, 2004 Report Posted December 3, 2004 I found it... They were "all geared up" in the pic.
Aunt_Acid Posted December 3, 2004 Report Posted December 3, 2004 Who's that dapper fellow in Image #7?
Sara Posted December 5, 2004 Author Report Posted December 5, 2004 Who's that dapper fellow in Image #7? A very zealous fan who I asked to pose for a pic with me. The link is fixed! It goes to the music section but you can buy anything. Here it is again, just in case: Amazon ::
_jr_ Posted December 6, 2004 Report Posted December 6, 2004 Oh, of course. I have an entire network. I'm like 'Q' LOLOL. Plus, all I need is one more answer for the quiz. How safe is this Amazon, though? I'd love to contribute something here, but I've never bought anything over the internet. I'm very leery about this.
Kevin Posted December 6, 2004 Report Posted December 6, 2004 Jr, go ahead ... WE'RE ALL VERY HAPPY HERE....(repeat) Don't sweat it about Amazon; if things go wrong, your claim should come up in...2~3 years !? It's fine. Try it -- and I'm trusting things to be shipped to Japan !
Uncle Joe Posted December 6, 2004 Report Posted December 6, 2004 I buy and sell frequently at Amazon and have done so for the past 3 or 4 years. I've never had a single problem. Check out UncleJoe46.
