pinkstones
Not too enthused with the TT this week, but that's alright. There's a couple songs I like and voted for.

edna
I love this one!!! Yes, a very good list of songs... I didn't vote for most of them but good picks anyways, it was hard to chose... ...though I think "Days of Pearly Spencer" should have made it... an unknown song... I'll nominate Marc Almond's version soon...
RockyRaccoon
Wooo! Got #1 and #3. So good to see both of those songs in the ten!
chutzpah
Not a good Top Ten but my songs never make it anyway And I guess I'll continue to nominate songs that will never make the TT I'm okay with that That being said I think some of those songs should have done better (even some of the songs I didn't vote for) I'm just disappointed in this Top Ten for the week
RockyRaccoon
I like the general progression of Chutz's smliey faces from sad to hysterical
Lucky
I know. And chutz, one of your songs just made the ten last week .... I love some of these songs, and one of mine made it in (this song of Mellencamp's should have been there before this), so that's all I can expect. I'm disappointed that some other possibilities didn't make it, this was a great week for nominations. Congrats to Rocky .... Edited September 4, 2010 by Guest 'twas Rocky ... chutzpah
I agree, this week had alot of good nominations. I'm just disappointed in the final Top Ten and I think some of those songs should have done better It's not that big a deal to me,I just think this weeks Top Ten could (or should) have been better This will be probably one of the few times that I'm just disappointed but I respect everybody's choices and votes
MindCrime
Nice surprise to see Screaming Trees squeeze in, that song's always been one of my underground grunge favorites.
Lucky
Don't forget peoples .... This week is our special back to school "Class of ?" edition! Should be fun. And for clarification, we're going to be really loose with the whole year thing. Basically if it was current during your grad year (using my example, 73/74 year) we'll take it. So take a trip down memory lane (for some of us that will be a longer trip than others), and remember those songs you were loving (not so much the songs that were big, unless those were your favorites). Give us your best!
pinkstones
I think people will enjoy both my choices. They aren't what you'd necessarily expect to see, given the year I graduated.

That means I can reach back into 1992 and pull out RuPaul's Supermodel (You Better Work)
pinkstones
I thought about doing one song from 1999 and one from 2000, but opted to stick with just 2000.
