lonelyday Posted March 11, 2010 Report Posted March 11, 2010 Awwww, I thought this was a general plea to be educated and I was gonna share an interesting fact about the octopus. But I better stick to the subject. I don't actually know too much about Jim Morrison, but my ex kinda looked like him when I first met him. P.S. I hear he made some alright music
edna Posted March 11, 2010 Report Posted March 11, 2010 Here: http://www.waiting-forthe-sun.net/ This is the official website.
Uncle Joe Posted March 11, 2010 Report Posted March 11, 2010 Lissy, please forgive some of us for having a little fun. You know we love ya.
miamisammy29 Posted March 11, 2010 Report Posted March 11, 2010 According to police reports, he had a freakishly small penis. But evidently, it didn't bother him that much.
MuzikTyme Posted March 11, 2010 Report Posted March 11, 2010 According to police reports, he had a freakishly small penis. I'm curious as to who "filled" out the report with such descriptive detail?
Brad_M Posted March 11, 2010 Report Posted March 11, 2010 hi guys. i am now ofically obseesed with jim morrison and would love it if anyone shared some info on him with me. i love learning about him so anything cool just put it down here please. thankyouuuu You already started a thread with this question in November of last year in the Questions and Answers Thread. MuzikTyme Posted March 11, 2010 Report Posted March 11, 2010 Hi, Lissy! It's easy to get caught up in good music and forget sometimes. I do it all the time! You've picked great performer/s, Jim Morrison and the Doors! I guess here would be a good place to start familiarizing with an all-time classic band! Enjoy!
Lissy Posted March 11, 2010 Author Report Posted March 11, 2010 lonelyday, i would like to know about the octopus
Shawna Posted March 12, 2010 Report Posted March 12, 2010 Val Kilmer played Jim Morrison in the movie. That's about the extent of my knowledge. Oh yeah - "Love Her Madly" was my favorite song when it first came out. Here's some random facts about the Doors (right here in our very own Artistfacts section!) Artistfacts: The Doors
MuzikTyme Posted March 12, 2010 Report Posted March 12, 2010 the octopus I'm going way out and say it's in reference to Grace Slick, Ringo Starr or Captain Nemo.
Tenacious_Peaches Posted March 12, 2010 Report Posted March 12, 2010 Sweet lissy, here's the Wikipedia page for Mr. Morrison with a lot of "facts" and links. On a personal note, I went through a Doors phase back in junior high around the same time we had to read the novel "A Raisin in the Sun" in English class. To this very day, whenever I hear the Doors song "Riders on the Storm", I substitute "A Raisin in the Sun" for the title. It fits perfectly.
MuzikTyme Posted March 12, 2010 Report Posted March 12, 2010 Anyone that's ever tried substituting raisins in the sun will agree. Raisins in the sun... Raisins in the sun... From grapevines we were born Just to shrivel up like corn Like a rock without a stone And living like a clone . . . Raisins in the Sun . . . Yeah! (keyboard intro)
Lissy Posted March 18, 2010 Author Report Posted March 18, 2010 i bought the new jim morrison scrapbook. it is so awsomeee but im poor now coz it cost me 70 dollars
Brad_M Posted March 19, 2010 Report Posted March 19, 2010 I hope it's autographed. The list price is only 40 U.S. dollars which is equal to a little more than 43 Australian dollars. Amazon has it for sale for only 27 U.S. dollars which amounts to a little over 29 Australian dollars. It pays to shop around.
Lissy Posted May 25, 2010 Author Report Posted May 25, 2010 damm it. oh well my mum paid it with her guilt money
