Kevin
Well , we are all gonna lose games - but if you get as many points as possible , that is the other trick . The game recognizes win/loss/ties first , and then points which make a big difference near the end of the season . If you were to be tied with someone in wins/ties , then points will make you better than them . Near the end it is likely that you will be in , or near a tie , in win/losses and points will be the difference. Also , teams that tend to score high tend to keep it up for most of the season - barring injuries or other problems - and you need to keep that in mind when playing them . The first 3 or 4 weeks are a real crap shoot , though ; players who started well may not keep it up and people who were slow to start , may turn it on . So , a good week , and already others are looking at your team with more respect !
Kevin
Weird - and I'll have to read more on this . It seems that if you win a game , or lose one - but it is not within your division - it counts for nothing in your divisional standings ... nor anywhere as far as I can see. Ex. RJ's game and Phil's
Shawna
who won the matchup between me and Phil then? I went to look just now and it's gone! I don't know how many points my guys got for what.
Kevin
Go back to your roster page and look for the weeks 1-17 in blue ( near the top )- left-hand side . Click week 1 and you can see what you got as week as by clicking 'matchup ' for that week at the very top . alternatively , click 'league ' and then look for 'schedule ' which will show you all your past match ups . You did alright , too , Shawna - you didn't win , but you were in the match for sure . Get yourself ready for week 2 , now .
MindCrime
I don't have a quarterback, both of mine are washed-up geezers. I never should have dropped Matt Ryan in favor of Favre I see Kevin got a greedy ransack at the free agency market You beat me to Flacco.
Kevin
You were too busy chasing tight ends ...!
MindCrime
I'd rather be chasing tight ends, than wide receivers.

Kevin
How do you feel about this winning your first game of the season , RJ , and getting no credit ( traditionally ) for it ? Oh , wait - you do , there are two standings : one in the division and one overall . I gotta look into this division play ...later . It was a lark , but I'm glad to try something new for a change . RonJonSurfer
As usual, even when I win I score very few points. Until the last two minutes of the game (when Brady woke up) I was going to lose this one too.

RonJonSurfer
Why? Are you a Bills fan or just anti-Brady? Either is OK by the way.
MindCrime
Geeze, Na Gormacha has 180 points with the opportunity to score more. This is a humiliating loss for me of 70+ point differential.
