As a matter of principle, I have boycotted Jonathan King (and his music) ever since his imprisonment for sex-crimes involving under-aged boys.

I understand you, I sometimes think very much as you do. It´s hard -or impossible- to separate the person from the work. Yet I didn´t learn about all that since some years ago and the song reminds me of my teenage days.

Personally, I like the Blue Swede version that was also the theme for the dancing baby on Ally McBeal. ("Ouga Chaka ouga ouga")

I'd be out of line not to welcome Suzanne (Doors Lady) to the Ten! She's working her way into becoming our newest family member ... everybody say hey to Suzanne! ;)

Suzanne, the Ten opens each week on Sunday evening, we nominate until Wednesday, and vote from then until Friday, when The Seeker announces the final Top Ten. We'll be looking forward to your nominations in the upcoming week!
