RockyRaccoon
Mediocre? That's putting it nicely . . . I mean, I think some of Dane Cook's jokes can be funny. Especially his earlier stuff. But Isolated Incident seemed a little self-indulgent at parts. Like, he went on and on about his parents being dead. I mean, unless you're a really good comedian, you should stay away from talking about cancer.
miamisammy29
...and if you're not funny to begin with, you should stay away from being a stand-up comic. Dane Cook sucks as a comedian! And so far, I've only seen one movie of his that was even remotely funny....but I can't remember the name right now...oh yeah, I remember..."No F*ck, Chuck!" That one was okay. MindCrime
Employee of the Month had some funny bits in it, but only from the supporting cast.
miamisammy29
I haven't seen that one yet. But Dax Shepherd is funny, and Jessica Simpson has some bigass tittays. So, it does have potential.
RockyRaccoon
I dunno. Dane Cook is far from my favorite comedian. But I certainly don't hate him. I'd have to say my favorites are Steven Wright, Mitch Hedberg, Nick Swardson, Michael Ian Black and Jim Gaffigan to name a few.

Kevin
'Juno ' : 4/10 After just watching this I really can't see what the hoopla was all about . A smartass kid , who seems not to care much about it in the least , gets pregnant and decides to put her kid up for adoption . Fair enough as a plot. However , the title character was a bit too worldly for one of 16 years of age. The adults were all rather unrealistically indifferent , and the conclusion that she and the boyfriend, who knocked her up, getting back together- as though nothing ever happened-was stupid and unrealistic to say the least . This was simply an ultra-liberal dream pregnancy , playing both choices a bit . If you are too young and can't 'hold back ' or get out in time, you are not a responsible man and have no business having sex. YOU are a failure - and a putz . Take up chess or study , instead , or stick to video games and internet porn , or better yet , roll a condom ( a plastic bag will do ) over your tiny head and smother yourself . MindCrime
I'm watching Juno I rented it earlier after reading Kevin's un-recommendation for it and the members of the Arrested Development fan cult I belong to recommend it. If you have any other movies you don't think anyone should see, Kevin, please tell.
Kevin
It isn't that I don't think anyone should see it but more that a rather simplistic depiction of youth pregnancy ,imo, got so much praise and raves . I was really expecting something quite exceptional rather than what it was : more akin to an after school teen show like Degrassi Jr. High or 90120 rather than a movie . Will fire off another (un)recommend sometime , though, with lots of free-time coming in the holidays next week .
_Laurie_
I loved Juno....the unrealistic and strange behavior of the adults/parents in the movie is what I liked about it....I thought it was very funny...
Kevin
I guess I'm alone on this then , as everyone I've talked seemed to think it was great as well . Was it supposed to be kind of a farce or a bit unreal ? Maybe I took it too seriously .
The Seeker
I thought Juno was awful too Cheesy, unrealistic, and the girl was more than annoying.

MindCrime
The girl was somewhat annoying and out of touch with her emotions, she didn't even seem to learn from her mistakes. I found it hard to sympathize with her character. I still thought it was a decent film and it managed to keep my interest for the duration of the film, which is hard to do for me anymore.
