I'm a bit surprised that Conquistador made it - I didn't have the impression that a lot of people here like/know it (I think I nominated it once), so that's nice And I think it's nice and diverse, old stuff and more recent songs too. very nice! and again! I'll have to read the lot again, as I didn't really get a chance before we left. I thought we were just nominating 50 songs from our OWN nominations ? I nominated 'The Boxer' into the Ten, but Fin may have nominated it before me and it didn't make it. Anyway, I won't choose that one in my Fifty when my turn comes around. As you can see from posts in the Personal Top 10 thread, the rules were switched to allow nominations of any 50 songs, partly to allow newbies like myself who do not have 50 nominations to participate, as well as for other reasons. Yes, by jove, you've got it. Any 50 songs you'd like, from any source. We just gave past nominations as an example, if it's too hard to just think of 50 songs (my brain gets muddled at times). So, like Lea said, if you want to give us 50 Country songs, those are what we have to vote from. See? Not so hard! and there she goes, cartwheeling away..... How was the wedding?
