Barry Berry 0 Report post Posted February 20, 2009 Journey's video for 'Seperate Ways' leaps to mind. Every cliche' in the cheesey video book...macho posing in eye shadow...playing 'air' instruments...lotsa fist shaking...and a pretty girl, looking a little over-dressed for an industrial shipping dock...cheese, cheese, cheese It's (almost) a shame, cuz the song really ain't bad check it out, if'n you don't remember it any thoughts? am I over reacting? cheddar is better
Tenacious_Peaches 0 Report post Posted February 20, 2009 Barry, you are killing me! I just posted my love for this video on my Facebook page this morning. Coinkydink much? Here is my comment: "It doesn't get better than the combo of Perry's beak, Schon's fro, the mulletted keyboardist and the duo of porn staches. If you don't feel the synthesized fabulosity of this song and video deep down in your gooey cheesy soul, go ahead and de-friend me now."
Lucky 5 Report post Posted February 20, 2009 Gotta love the Cheese ... Eddie Money is another artist that Velveeta's got nothin' on. Not only did the ex-cop pretend he could sing, he pretended he could act. His only video that was good was the one for "Take Me Home Tonight" and only because of the inclusion of Ronnie Spector. Wyld Card 5 Report post Posted February 21, 2009 I agree with Journey being cheesy, so does MTV. In 1999, MTV named it one of the cheesiest videos ever made, along with Steve Perry's "Oh Sherrie". Cheesiest Video ever made, according to MTV: Heartbeat - Don Johnson (1986)
Barry Berry 0 Report post Posted February 23, 2009 "Coinkydink much?" I reckon so, Peaches I am a walking coinkydink Also, thanks ever so much for the proper spelling of the word "coinkydink"...the "i" looks much better than "ee"...call Websters...take your due credit for that one ...yeah....gotta love the cheese...in moderation (of course)...you know what happens with too much cheese...as below, so above
skybluesky 0 Report post Posted February 28, 2009 I would swear Lionel and crew made this video in a booth at the mall, but I don't think those places existed in '79. But lord, does Lionel ever shine from his sheened up 'fro right down to his shoes The Commodores-Sail On
