Skuff replied to RonJonSurfer's topic in Music Discussion Classic
And Your Bird can sing~Beatles Junior's Farm~Wings Not really a solo, but the guitar on "Go to the Mirror" by The Who ROCKS! -
I'd have to say" Matchbox " . One of their best songs that Ringo sung!
-
The Who~A Quick One is cool
-
Definitely their Yellow Submarine album! Their most underrated album because it has those good orchestral songs! One of their least apprecaited songs is "It's All Too Much".I LOVE it!
-
The Who T-shirt logo I could only find a T-shirt, bout The Who's Logo is Pretty cool! (I can't do a picture yet)

I totally agree, TheTallOne! The ONLY (Green Day) song they play is "Wake Me Up When September Ends" on our 'All Hit Music station', Hot 92. Well, take a look at "Fine Line", NOMINATED FOR A GRAMMY, and all the crap they play, "Hits", are what they are, CRAP! C'mon Hot 92, play REAL hits! My bands are:(No perticular order) Green Day Good Charlotte Blink-182 Fall Out Boy Black Eyed Peas That's all I can think of!

How could anyone forget.... Tequlia~The Champs! Also, The "In" Crowd~The Ramsey Lewis Trio

Laurie, I don't have a dog!

Ever since we got our 1st Beatles Album (Abbey Road, at least I think that was our first 1) on CD, my favorite was Paul. Now I'm beginning to enjoy solos and post-Beatle bands of both. George and Ringo are still yet to be discovered for me! But... Paul is my answer.

Songs you never hear on the radio anymore due to the lyrics

Ok, another one: Medicine Jar~Wings. "What's wrong with you? I wish I knew You say time and tell I hope that's true There's more to life than blues and reds I say, I know how you feel, Now your friends are dead. Dead on your feet, you won't get far If you keep on sticking your hand In the medicine jar. Now don't give up Whatever you do You say time will tell I hope that's true If you go down and lose your head I say, I know how you feel Now your friends are dead. Dead on your feet, you won't get far If you keep on sticking your hand In the medicine jar. Dead on your feet What can I do? I can't let go You say time will heal But very slow So don't forget the things you said I say I know how you feel Now your friends are dead. Dead on your feet, you won't get far If you keep on sticking your hand In the medicine jar." (McCulloch) It's an anti-drug song. -

For exmple: She's A Woman~The Beatles "Turns me on when I get lonley" Well now, they'd play songs that have "Turn Me On" in the title!(If there are any!) -
I have a question: what's a novelty song?
-
I knew they wre lip-synching, I didn't know how to spell synching!
-
Here is the Revolution video. Not perfect, at the end on that last HUGE "ALL RIGHT" John's not even at the mic! (Yet you can still hear it)
-
That is some of their best material! For example: Her Majesty, She Said She Said, and Please Please Me.
-
I sung that when going to my field trip! Except, I thought it was 100 bottles. No song is too long!!!
