9. Stay With Me - Faces (1971)

Narrowing this down to ten songs wasn't that hard... ranking them was a different matter altogether, especially the top five. This was like the Ultimate Top Ten again.

Funny, sarcastic? Not really. Sideswipe? Most assuredly.

Funny- only in a vague sense.

Sarcastic - not particularly intended as such

Sideswipe - putting it a bit strongly: I'm sure no offence was intended.

This whole thing would have read quite differently had Farin said, "which in turn was a facetious reference to a remark in another thread :) "

'Twas nought but a bit of silliness. We're allowed that, aren't we?

1. D'you Know What I Mean? - Oasis (1997)

2. Run Like Hell - Pink Floyd (1979)

3. Monkey Wrench - Foo Fighters (1997)

4. We Are The Champions - Queen (1977)

7. Natural Born Bugie - Humble Pie (1969)

8. White Unicorn - Wolfmother (2006)

9. Maybe Tomorrow - The Iveys (1969)

10. Tangerine - Led Zeppelin (1970) (One of Led Zeppelin's only truly radio friendly songs. Which, of course, is why I don't like it that much. )

Again, I think this list is more a reflection of the songs that I'd like to see in the Top Ten and actually stand a chance of making it there, rather than the songs that are actually my favourites. Voting for my favourites in the top 3 seems to be getting more and more pointless as time goes by (Especially when Fin doesn't vote for my Humble Pie nomination :P ).

I didn't?! I must have accidentally deleted it off my final list of songs to vote for! I tell you, I definitely wanted to vote for it. I'll edit my votes.
