MuzikTyme
Ewwww they are all sweet and wrinkly and sweet and dry and small and yucky and sweet and to cover them with chocolate is a waste of chocolate because they are icky. The above quote wasn't quite as easy as typing ewwww.
Mars88
This gets me thinking about food preferences...my children always pick the raisins out of anything. Do people learn to like certain foods over time? My husband detests pineapple in any form...can't even stand the smell of it.
skybluesky
I hate dark raisins, but I like golden raisins.
Levis
Raisins are pointless... they donot taste as nice as grapes when they're ...um, raw... And when they're cooked they absorb the water and swell up and become all squishy and yucky and again - not as nice as grapes. What purpose do they serve? Mars88
Golden raisins taste good by themselves. I've never tried baking with them because I think they will burn.
skybluesky
They add a touch of sweetness to things, like salads and souch. Personally I use dried cranberries for that purpose.
Levis
But they are squishy. I don't like gummy bears for similar reasons. Sweet and squishy - ugh.
Mars88
I make a spinach salad using toasted pecans and dried cranberries and Kraft Mandarin Orange & Sesame dressing. It was weird at first, because I was not used to a sweet dressing, but I like it a lot now...
skybluesky
I don't like gummi bears either, and I loathe gummi worms.
The Seeker
What are golden raisins? I only know those dark things... they come in different colours, but I thought that was just a coincidence.
Mars88
You never made that "dirt" cake with the crushed Oreo crumbs (as dirt), with the gummy worms rooting around in it?
Levis
^ that sounds like it'd be fun to make and look at. Someone else can eat it

They provide us with musical entertainment: :guitar: I hear a hit single! 2. They make women look sexy. Yowsa! Yowsa! Yowsa!

The Seeker
I rather enjoyed that. You two can take that act on the road. Encore! Encore! We would, but sadly, Namahage cannot stand being with me without being with me for too long, if you know what I mean. Poor guy.
