It is a strange feeling. Not really scary, but my opinion may change if stuff started to fall around me. The closest I have been to a big quake was the Northridge one in 1994. It was a 6.7 and I was about 30 miles from the epicenter. That one sucked because I dont like them when I am asleep. No damage, but it sure gets the old heart going.

Wait a minute. Working less is lazy? That's just plain bullsplat. Working less than necessary may be lazy or it may not. But working less to achieve the same result is smart. Damned smart!

Kevin, what are you on about?

Overwork? Why would anyone want to do that?

While your glorious present state is only something men can dream of , Joe , ... some are still slogging it out in the trenches day after day ... mostly in China and India , unfortunately ... and will likely never again retire nicely . :P

Some of us are right here in So Cal, Kev. I'll likely be hobbling with my walker to my desk when I'm 90. :D

You know the old saying, work smart, not hard. Hat's off to a smart man! ;)

Indeed , most don't crawl out of the field here until they're 95+ at least , and then have a bit of an excuse : can't keep up those 12 hour days anymore . :P
