Tenacious_Peaches
Good luck, Katie. Surgery sucks, but you'll come through with flying colors. And yes, the Ramones are awesome.
Levis
I don't mind the egg, but I don't like toast. I prefer 'normal' bread
katie_sane
Thanks Peachy. I've had four major surgeries before, so I'm an old pro at it, but I still get nervous everytime.

The Seeker
Your bread isn't bread! Bread has a thick crust on the outside. Would you believe there's not a single bakery or supermarket in the area that sells bread? It's all squishy soft toast-like 'bread'. Um... anyway... Good luck, Katie! Steel2Velvet
Katie, I had a friend that had their tonsils removed post-adolescent. The procedure changed their voice pattern slightly, made it more distinctive and they became fairly successful locally as advertising copy announcer on the radio, whereas before their voice was just mediocre. We'll be thinking about you while you repair, recover and maybe, someday, record.

Lucky
Katie, we'll be thinking of you. Tonsils are a bit tougher for an adult than a child, but you'll be fine. I cannot imagine having to eat toast however. Wouldn't that be a bit rough? How about noodle soup or something? So soon we'll get to experience Katie on Drugs. Cool! katie_sane
Thanks everyone! I have to fast from midnight tonight and my surgery will be done sometime tomorrow morning. S2V, wow, changed the voice? My voice has changed because of the size of my tonsils which are obstructing my breathing, so I was hoping my voice would go back to what it used to be. Shawna
I never knew tonsils could obstruct breathing. Good thing I'm not a doctor. Keep us in the loop, Katie - and good luck! Everything will be fine... just look in the doctor's eyes and count backwards from 100...
